Members - Become a Member Who can become a memberThe New Zealand Society for Risk Management is a professional society established to improve the knowledge and practice of risk management in New Zealand. Since its inauguration in 2000, the Society has attracted members from many fields of risk management knowledge and practice. This includes those with direct involvement in a field of risk management and those with a personal, organisational or community interest.
National and international membership currently exceeds 800 inclusive of Individual Members, Corporate Members and nominated contacts of the latter. Membership of the Society is open to any person of good character and any organisation engaged in or with an interest in the practice, study, teaching or application of risk management. Membership typesThere are two classes of membership - Individual and Corporate.
Membership approvalThe Executive Officer acknowledges all applications for membership by email. Applications are submitted by the Executive Officer to the Managegement Committee for consideration and its decision communicated to applicants by email (usually within 10 working days). Membership renewalMembership fees are annual fees and are due for renewal on 1 April each year (except for applicants approved between 1 February and 31 March. Membership Fees
