In a substantial article published in the November – December issue of Electrolink Magazine, Chris Peace discusses techniques for assessing the risks from machines in the workplace and applying controls to reduce those risks to workers and others in the workplace. The article which can be found here  provides an excellent primer for those involved in health and safety around machines in the workplace.

The 2011 risk management feature in NZBusiness Magazine focuses on managing disruption related risks or business continuity planning. The article, which can be found here, includes considerable comment from the Society’s Executive Director focusing on the positive aspects of being prepared for disruptions
